Why I Built This
The ABL Method car service framework comes from three years of watching the gig economy not work and twelve years of building the alternative.I drove for Uber after work for three years. I watched what the platform took from every fare. I watched what drivers kept after fuel and wear. I watched what happened when something went wrong and the insurance did not cover what the driver assumed it would. The math did not work. Not for the driver. Not for the passenger who had no idea who had been vetted and how.
In 2014 I stopped driving for Uber and started All Black Limo LLC. Every driver is a direct employee. Every candidate is road-tested by me before they work a single shift. Every driver is Washington State Patrol background-checked, drug-tested, and medically certified. Twelve years later: seven-figure revenues, 12 percent annual growth, zero safety incidents, two national consumer awards, and a 91.8 percent client repeat rate.
